The Prince George's County Police Department is seeking the public's assistance as they attempt to identify and locate a shooter wanted in connection to the death of Morris "JuJu" Haskins, Jr. on Friday afternoon.
Officers were called shortly before 6 p.m. on Nov. 8 to a park in the 7700 block of Walker Mill Road, where there was a reported shooting in the area with one victim down.
Haskins was found outside suffering from a gunshot wound. He was rushed to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead the following day on Saturday, Nov. 9.
Haskins' family described his death as "an immense loss, as Ju touched the lives of everyone he encountered.
"He was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend," they said. "His big heart and generous spirit made a lasting impact on so many of us."
Detectives are now working to identify a suspect and possible motive for the fatal shooting. It remains under investigation as of Tuesday, Nov. 12.
